Welcome to the Futuristic Science Research Center (FSRC) at Walailak University, a distinguished center of innovation and academic excellence established by the esteemed Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, the President of Walailak University.
The FSRC is a prominent member of the School of Science and is recognized as the research center in Thailand dedicated exclusively to cultivating a vibrant research environment. We provide our staff with flexible workload options that enable them to concentrate on innovative research and enhance their overall performance. This center demonstrates the ability of domestic researchers to produce research papers that are comparable with those of international scholars. Our objective is to attain the designation of a Global and Frontier Research University, classified as a Thailand Group One University. This entails not only augmenting the quantity and quality of research publications indexed in the SCOPUS database but also increasing the number of citations. To expand our influence, we are actively pursuing collaborations at both the national and international levels.
The FSRC consists of a team of 20 highly qualified members, each specializing in various areas of research, including Applied Physics, Advanced Electrochemical and Optical Sensors, Applied Bioscience, Theoretical Simulation, and Pure and Applied Mathematics. This diverse expertise enables the center to approach complex scientific challenges from multiple perspectives and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration.
